Meet someone who’s always at the center of the action: My name is Maddox Rudolf Burhall Obidic´, and I am a serial entrepreneur with a rich background in marketing, business development, sponsorship, and events. I am also one of the founders of Burhall Sport Agency Ltd, and driven by a vision to revolutionize sports marketing and push innovation to the forefront.

As a parent, my interest in sports has grown significantly, especially through my children’s involvement in football. Having grown up in Sweden, a country with endless opportunities for sports, I immersed myself in almost every sport available—from ice hockey at the age of 8 to football, handball, swimming, rugby, boxing, and later in life, crossfit. My personal athletic journey resembles that of many youths, but my passion for sports extends far beyond participation. Over time, I’ve developed a deep passion for football, racing, and e-sports, particularly the role of racing within the e-sports landscape.
My journey in e-sports began with racing when living in Marbella, where I have been involved in various innovative projects, including the creation of a new SIM Racing series. This was enhanced through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to offer an even more immersive experience. I’ve also integrated blockchain technology as a framework for generating revenue—further showcasing my belief that technology is the key to the future of sports marketing.
My passion for marketing began just as early. Growing up in Sweden during the 1980s, we didn’t have commercial TV channels, so when advertisements finally appeared, I was instantly captivated. Since then, my fascination with advertising and marketing has only grown. I had the privilege of being trained at RMI-Berghs, which later became the globally renowned Berghs School of Communication, one of the best advertising schools at the time.
These marketing skills became a real asset when I got interested in music in my youth and started organizing parties that initially began in the woods, in connection with electronic music taking up more space as a genre. This evolved into organizing clubs and festivals, promoting artists and tours, which later developed into corporate events and what we today call event marketing. With a client list many agencies would envy, this experience laid the foundation for what I do. Today, I apply the same principles in sports marketing and product placement.
Throughout my career, I’ve consistently seen that marketing, sponsorship, endorsements, product placement, and brand development are still in their infancy—there is so much room for growth. The industry is continuously evolving, with emerging technologies unlocking new opportunities in sports marketing and live broadcasting. My background in marketing, coupled with an understanding of consumer behavior, technology, trends, and social media, has enabled me to explore innovative ways to monetize brands, evaluate their value, and open up new revenue streams and distribution channels.
